NOTHING. i keep her on a maintance dose of Predisone now... she weighs about 90 lbs and i give her like 5mg's every other day and more if needed. that seems to help and it is inexpensive. Only downside is prednisone is a steriod.. i dont know what it will do to a coondog, beef it up a little i guess lol. let me know what you find out that works. i am willing to try whatever!
Hear, hear!! I got to the point I was going to start my dog on pred, too. The vet said that steroids aren't the best things in the world for dogs but, they do produce steroids naturally?! I don't know, quality of life for my dogs is important to me, and I'd try anything to get rid of the constant itch.
