new psalm

Subject: The new Psalm...

All together now....

Obama is the shepherd I did not want.
He leadeth me beside the still factories.
He restoreth my faith in the Republican party.
He guideth me in the path of unemployment for his party's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the bread line,
I shall fear no hunger, for his bailouts are with me..
He has anointed my income with taxes,
My expenses runneth over.
Surely, poverty and hard living will follow me all the days of my life,
And I will live in a mortgaged home forever.
I am glad I am American,
I am glad that I am free.
But I wish I was a dog ...
And Obama was a tree.

No doubt, this is the 151st Psalm found in the deadbeat scrolls, that washed ashore off Lake Michigan?

just a ponder; know body thinks the republican bush had any thing to do with unemployment and empty factories. i can remember good times with clinton in and some of the worst with bush's and reagan. seems like a pattern to me, the hole obama walked in to is going to take time to dig out of, heck it took eight years to make. not totally for him or against him but im a union ironworker and can start to see some improvement in the economy from my end. just my opinion

Shaun, stop drinking the liberal koolaid. I can't believe you and I haven't talked much politics with all the hunting we've done. We'll have to talk about this sometime this weekend, should make for some interesting conversation!

Chew on these....

Besides, you work for a living, Obama's plans do not include you, unless you count him taxing the crap out of you to provice for a bunch of people who refuse to do much more than check the mailbox for a check, or his newest little Government program, The Safelink Cell Phone.... I deliver 10 or so a month in Ionia. In case you are not aware, these are cell phones that You and I, the working people in America, Pay for, so that those on Government Assistance can sit and gab on the phone each month. They are prepaid, but, if the "customer" so chooses, he can add minutes to his plan at a very reduced rate. But You and I are responsible for the regular monthly fees and the first couple hundred minutes.

You are younger than I am so you probably don't remember much of Reagan's or Bush Sr. time as president. Heck I don't. I was in Elementary School, Middle School and a Freshman in HS when Reagan and Bush Sr. were in office, and I had much more on my mind than politics back then.

I am a union member also, I choose to not believe all of the propaganda that shows up in my mailbox from my union. The union only ever tells you what is good for the union, not the nation. The union cares about you so long as that union dues money comes through. I know you have been out of work and been all over looking for work. How much were they doing for you while you weren't working regularly?

I like the idea of a Union, but much like the Democrat Party, the union that we grew up knowing about is not longer the Union we are paying for.

Lets hunt this weekend! I am supposed to take EMily to see "Where the wild things are" tomorrow night, but I can hunt after that, I'll give you a call tomorrow during the day.

-Tracy
