3 more days til season opens, go to clean the kennel and the hound is in heat.
How many has this happened to, I'm sure I'm not the only one, but having just one hound to hunt sucks!

i've hunted my female when she was in heat.just have to be selective where you hunt.it can be done.believe or not.takecare..theo

i hunt mine while she's in heat too. i hunt where very few others hunt and i never see other dogs. during deer season it's a whole nother story. i have to account for many deer running walker hounds wondering around lost and worn out in the forest.

My black and tan female comes in heat every year the week of kill season. Just like clockwork, you can bet on it.

A friend of mine uses amonia and water on there tush. That is why I have my b&t female up for sale. Don't like females.

you can rub vicks vapor rub around mommy part , we would do this when we would run our fox dogs and the males would not mess with the females, for the most part.males cant smell if they are in season,and i think it also burns daweewee.

if you dont want pups you better leave her at home and go with buddys.. there are a lot of vix puppy out there. it all will wash off at some point. where that point is might be a male there..... and bam vix pups 63 days latter.
