It’s just weeks away, and I hope everyone is as excited as we are! Finally hounds and tree dogs get their spotlight on National Television!!!

With that said, here are some developments and other points of interest:

• I’ve heard of some complaints about folks with DishNetwork that can’t get channel 230, ICTV. I’ve talked to the network, and they have confirmed that if that’s the case, there’s something wrong. Channel 230 is on the basic subscription of DishNetwork, and so everyone with Dish (not yet DirecTV) should have access. If you don’t, call DishNetwork to find out what they need to fix, to make it so.
•ICTV will launch on DirecTV in January… channel to be determined.
•We have changed one of our air times. We were concerned about folks heading to hunts on Saturday afternoon, so we changed that airing to Sunday evening at 6:00 PM. So to be clear, we have airings on Wednesday morning at 7:30, Friday evening at 7:00 and Sunday evening at 6:00.
•We’re also going to be launching advanced DVD sales for delivery before Christmas, so keep an eye on the website. It will be a multiple DVD collection of all our episodes.
•We’re also going to start filming our second season this Fall, so if you’re interested in sponsoring the show, please contact me.

I dont know anyone around here that's going to be able to watch that around here. Why not a regular cable network?

Our goal was to reach as many rural households as possible, which is why we chose a satellite network instead of a cable network. And for satellite networks nobody has more households than DishNetwork, which is why we chose Dish. And ICTV, channel 230, is on the basic subscription of Dish. Starting in January, ICTV will be on the basic subscription of DirecTV. That means, that unlike Outdoor Channel or Versus, or a few others, you won't have to pay for a premium channel to watch us.

All told, we will be available in over 40 million households, coast to coast, mostly rural. We may add a cable network in the future, but since you have to buy airtime, we felt our money was better spent on satellite coverage.

Do you have a cable network in mind, we should consider?

Sounds good the only show with hounds now on Direct TV is Gone To The Dogs on Sunday at 9:30 am. Great show but too much advertising and not enough of the hunting. We have been treeing bears out of the corn fields while trying to coon hunt. Season opened Sept. 1st and so far I've treed 2 coon, 1 bear and ran one other bear out of the corn. Dang off game lol.

For those that attempted to watch the show this Friday... there was a mishap at the Network, where apparently the wrong producer's tape was played. We were supposed to be on the air, and the program guide was correct. Obviously outside of our control, but our apologies nonetheless. Please tune back in on Sunday at 6:00 pm.

We also realize there has been frustration on many people's part with the confusion over whether they receive ICTV. I spoke at length with the Network today and they explained that DishNetwork is in the process of changing their coast to coast distribution from one satellite to two, this has caused disruption on some people's service and programming guides. Again, outside of our control and we, like many of you, have simply been a victim of circumstance.

I guess launching hounds and tree dogs onto National Television, has caused disruption in the Universe!!!
