Forget About The Mountain Lion Killed in MN...

....I'm more bummed out about the Tigers they killed.

Good luck Twins fans. Your team is kicking butt right now. If I wasn't a Tigers fan, I'd be a Twins fan. Would love to see the Twins beat up the Yankees!

Yep, I have to agree Todd. I am sorry to say, but I told my family back at the all-star break that the Tigers would wait until the very last minute and blow the deal.

I just had a feeling.

I think the Tigers just realized that the Cardinals were in the playoffs again. They probably figured it was best to get out now and save themselves the embarrasment in late October.

We would love to see the Twins edge out three wins over the Yankees. Reality tells me that this year the Yankees are a team that won't be edged out by anyone but the best of the best. The Twins beat Detroit but only by the skin of their teeth. This is one Twins fan who doesn't have a lot of fingernails left to chew on so if they get past the Bronx Bozos I will need therapy for my finger tips.

No, I think a lot of folks who don't live in or come from NYC just get tired of how that area projects itself as the center of American life. No one is as good a self-promoter as a New Yorker. It must be in their water, which they will also tell you is the best in the world. And on and on about the best this and that. Yawn........the rest of America just tunes it out until we are playing the Yankees.

The Yankees are a bunch of spoiled brats if ya ask me. The only time they play well is when they aren't trying to see who on the team has the biggest ego.

Considering they have one of the highest paid teams they should do well.

It doesn't matter what sport, but I have never liked a team who only seems to play better at the end of the year. It is like they don't try until it is necessary.

What happened? Twins were doing so good. Then I went hunting. When I got back in I heard they had lost. I saw the replays but I can't believe they let that one slip away. 17 stranded base runners. My lord.

Nathan came in for the save and served up a cookie, and if that wasn't bad enough the Twins had the bases loaded ,in the extra innings ,with no outs and they could'nt score. I almost wish the Tigers would have won the divison.

Baseball

I have to say that the game the Twins and Tigers played is without question among the most exciting baseball games I've seen.

As far as the Yankees line-up goes, it is good. But, I think the Phillies line-up is just as impressive (if not more so).
