I seen a ton of mosquitoes this morning and I think I also found some ticks and chiggars, LOL. Our gun season is in so at least I did hear a good chase.
One of these days Im going to get down there with Rob for a coon hunt, Him and Allen said yall have a good time.

Well i hate to admit this but i seen a shooter this afternoon a 6 pointer was about 40 yrds from the stand..Pulled up the gun pulled the triger and guess what ? POWWW CAP WENT OFF BUT GUN NEVER WENT OFF....

Our gun season started on Oct. 1st, they changed it years ago beause the swamps used to freeze up and you couldnt get your dogs back. I havent seen it freeze in a few years now.
I have a muzzleloader but havent used it much, is that a common occurance?
My work has slowed up so I will definitely be down to hunt this year. Hope you dont mind a couple cur dogs hanging around our feet, LOL
