I,d rather have a big dog if it can get the job done. Their usually louder and the gators ain,t as bad about jumpin on a big dog at the tree in the competition hunts of course we all have our own opinion. I guess thats what makes huntin discussions interesting.

Learn to Read the subject was changed to The overall Size of the Hounds .. The Smaller the Hound your running at night Calling Yote's and Wolfs from all over the County the Greater Chance of it getting Ate..

Their is a Size of Hound that is "Less" aptd to Wolf Attack even in the North West Can.

I have news for you, I run my 45 pounder in thick yote country often enough to know that she aint bothered by them. She's busy treeing coon. I also know that even a 150lb hunting dog would be torn to pieces by a wolf or pack of wolves. Steve, cut one of your 100 pound crap eaters loose in Idaho and I bet it ends up dead within an hour.

Why is a guy that clearly doesnt hunt...and doesnt have UKC registered hounds even allowed on here?????

Can anyone here please answer this??

Hey Steve. That will be a nice cross. I know Cotton is kicking butt in WV. He is louder than any of the other dogs and getting the job done. Roberts says he "jars the ground when he bawls out and hammering the tree". He covers so much ground and loves his six mile condition run every other day. Robert says he loves to race along the side of the four wheeler. I will have to call Gary in SC and tell him that he did a nice job with him in the pen.

Abbey and Ann are getting huge. Jess said good thing those walker pups are going to be born a week after the lightfoot pups so they have something to chew on. Very funny Jess....

Anyway, double check with Tessa on that One Eye Jack. Now that Cotton is in WV I need me another Majestic pup to run with my two big boys.

By the way. Are you going to the bear bay this weekend. I think Bam Bam and maybe Magnum are going. Not sure yet. We have to take Roman to DC for the conference on Capitol Hill so I know Saturday will be tight scheduled.
