We are looking at a 1 year old Yorkie who's mother was AKC and father was UKC, is there any chance of registering this pup?

Yes, with this proviso. List the UKC number of the UKC registered dog on the single application. Then you need not complete that portion of the pedigree. Complete the pedigree information for the AKC dog and provide proof of AKC registration and you should be all set. If you have any questions, let me know.
