K-Light or ProLite?

I would like to hear you input. I've heard that the fellow at K-light is a Christian and supports youth hunts, that to me is worth giving them my money. I've heard good about both what do ya'll think?

I like the K Light. They attend most events and seem to be ahead of most on innovation.

I have a k-light 21v with the led light under the main one. It was the best 375 Ive ever spent. I wouldn't look any farther than Mike Kelly. He is a honest man and a pleasure to speak to.

I ain't to crazy about getting the LED head but underneath would be nice! I probley won't right now for cost. I've been hunting around 2yrs going with family and friends. My cousin gave me a deal on a 6v night lite ($30). I've been using that since before I had a dog. My wife bought me a pup for Christmas and has started to show some good traits. So far 2 Possums hehe! I'm working with her. I figured it's about time to invest in a brighter, lighter, and newer light. Since I'm getting more serious about coon hunting.

Ive never used a K-Light so i cant comment on them. But i do own a 21 Volt ProLite belt light and i love this light, Great people to deal with when getting a light and comes with a 5 year warranty. Brightest light ive ever seen in the woods. So i can tell you that if you did go with Prolite you would be satisfied.

Also, Bruce has donated all the trophies for the 2008 Florida State youth hunt and bench show that will be held on October 4th

Bruce and Mike are both great guys that support the youth!

Lights

The battery packs are very similar, some of the heads are different, but I guess its just who you like the best. THe lights are going to give you same qualities, but I would go with who ever you think would treat you the best if something were to happen to your light. You proablly know what I use and who I deal with, He is the best I've been around about helping you out on anything you might need from fixing your light to giving your kid a hat or something. Team Blazer is my choice, but really the lights are pretty much the same when you really get down to it all. Oh yeah, I can hunt seven nights straight without charging my light with the Led head. Think about that when you are choosing one. I don't all night long, but I do hunt three or four hours, but they are suppose to hold up for 50 hours and believe me mine does. Tim

Pro-Lite

I am sure K-Light builds a darn good light, Mike is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet.

I have a Pro-Lite Gold 21 with LED head, couldnt be more satisfied with it. I had a slight problem with it blowing a spot-light sometimes, sent it to Pro-Lite along with 2 spotlights, Daniel replace both Spot bulbs free of charge and fixed the problem with it blowing them ( too much voltage I guess)......he shipped it back free of charge, my light was gone, fixed and back to me in 5 days............you just cant beat the service if you should ever need it, plus the 5 yr warranty is second to no-one................

Its PRO-LITE for me, try one and have piece of mind.........

Be careful though, you could set the woods on fire.....( it is BRIGHT..!!!!!!!!!!!! )............Good luck and let us know which light you choose and how you like it after you use it.....Tim

WE HAVE ONE OF EACH. BOTH ARE CHEYENNE'S! LOL.

SHE LIKES THE K-LIGHT BETTER. I ASKED HER WHY, SHE SAID IT WAS LIGHT AND SHE COULD PUT IT IN HER POCKET AND DIDNT HAVE TO WEAR THAT HEAVY BELT.

I LIKE THEM BOTH, FOR DIFFERENT REASONS.

I DONT LIKE HOW THE K-LIGHT HEAD CHARGES.
IT IS BRIGHTER THAN THE PRO-LITE, BUT IT'S A LED SO OF COURSE IT'S GOING TO BE BRIGHTER.
IT IS MUCH SMALLER, BARELY OVER THE SIZE OF A CIGARETTE PACK, AND I CAN JUST HANG IT AROUND MY NECK AND YOU CANT HARDLY TELL IT'S THERE. NO NEED FOR A BELT, JUST STICK IT IN A PANTS, JACKET OR SHIRT POCKET.

THEY ARE BOTH GOOD LIGHTS, BOTH OF OURS ARE SMALLER FOR HER, AND BOTH WORK GOOD AND HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS OUT OF THEM.

I RECOMMEND BOTH!

I just talked with my cousin last night and found out my uncle has a light that he won at a hunt and might be selling it. It's a bright eyes 17v belt light. I'm going to call him today and see how much he is asking. If he's asking msrp or close I'll probley go with the k-light. I really thank ya'll for your input. Nice place to go for some help. I agree both lights are probley about the same. I'll keep ya'll posted on what happens.

Prolite

Never owned a K-light so I won't say anything againest it. From everybody I hear that owns one loves it. My hunting buddy has one and he loves it. Far as Prolite goes I got one of the first 28 volt belt lights and never had one moments trouble with it. People were blowing bulbs left and right but I finally blew one after having it a year and a half and that was my fault for flipping it up on high to fast before it warmed up. Daniel is first class when it comes to customer service. Prolite is the only light for me. JMO!!!!!!

Bright Eyes

I just got off the phone, he told me he would sell me the 17v bright eyes belt light for $200. I think this is what I'll do. I really would like to get a k-light but for the price that's a hard deal to pass up. I've heard good and bad about there coustmer service. I would like to support the k-light fellow with my buisness. I just can't justfy getting there light over the bright eyes for the price. As a college student price makes a big diffrence. I'm going to his house today, and he also has a Crystal 19v light for sale for $125. He said he paid $100 getting it redone or a battery about a year ago. Thanks for all ya'lls help. Think this is a good deal?

Talked with a buddy and he was telling me that the switch on the head is really easy to cut on on the bright eyes. He said to put an o-ring in and that fixes it. Ya'll had this problem?

I second Amy on that one. We bought one after seeing hers in action and are extremely satisfied!

A lot of people are actually using a K-Light

and don't even know it.

Mike Kelly makes battery packs and switches for a lot of "BRAND NAME" light companies. He is a great guy too. That's why Bruce sells K-lights at Conkey's Hound and Hunting Supply
