I use about 12 cc's down the back of a 60lbs dog. Try to get as much as you can on the skin. I put it on the back so the dog can't lick it. I only used it 3 times all summer and never had a flea , but it doesn't work very well for ticks.

I wouldn't use it on females nursing at all! I do apply frontine 3 weeks prior to whelping and not a problem.

just like mark said i use 12cc on the backs and under there collars and put on rubber gloves and work it in does excellant on fleas and the ticks for me, i have even put a very small amount about1 cc on puppies does great, A LOT cheaper than frontline

no. the ingredient is the same as Advatage and it has not been studied on pregnant/nursing dogs. use frontline if you have to use something (per vet)
