 Autumn Oaks Entry Question!!

I was wondering i sent in an enrty at the last minute, And i am guiding but they put me on a wait list. can anyone explain this one?

After they see how many pre-entrys actually confirm their entry on the grounds, they will then call out wait list entrants to hunt. Not everyone on the wait list gets to hunt, but usually your odds are pretty good.
