Question about Garmin

I have recently purchased a garmin tracking system. One thing that I can't seem to figure out is how to set it to where the screen is always lit up. I have to go to settings and turn the brightness up each time I turn it on. I'm sure there must be a way to keep it on permenantly?

After it is turned on and on the dog page hit the power button again and it will turn the screen light on. After this each time you hit a button the screen will light up and stay lit for a short period of time. The screen will still go off after ten seconds or so but it will save your batteries by going back off. I usually just hit the directional toggle to turn the screen back on.

If you keep the lights on they will burn through the batteries. best to keep it as is. I shut off all the lights and alarms.

Brock, do what Virgil said with the power button. Also go into settings or where ever it is and set the light duration to 3 or 5 mins or so. Once youve done these two steps when the light goes out all you have to do is press any button and the light will display for you. Then every time you turn the unit on and once the unit is on you hit the power button again to find the setting for your light brightness. Its confusing the way I worded this but simple once you figure this out. ALso go get you some Nicad batteries where you can recharge them, you'll eat batteries like candy especially when running the lights. Theres also a battery type setting when you make the change.....That systems great...
