I would set the cage out in the yard and let the pup find it. Start around 3 months and go from there. JMO Good Luck

all dogs are not alike!i've seen some at 4 months hate a coon,and bark at a coon.i have a 3 yr old that is as good as they come that won't bark at one!show it to the pup if they bark at it great,if not try it again in a month,or so.good luck mike
