treeing off seeing the coon

i got a 1 year old bluetick trees only when he sees the coon any tips please help

My advice would be to quit showing him caged coons immediately.
Maybe turn a couple out in the dark at a big field where he can see it leave but the coon will have to go a ways before it can climb. Don't let the dog see it climb!
I would not even do this much!
