Just thought I'd share a few pics from English Days this weekend. We had a blast and a few of us won our casts so we didn't fair too badly. .....The Fairgrounds were a great facility and I was well guided on Friday and Saturday night. Also met some new faces and new friends! Enjoy!



My new best bud, NITECH PR Jamie's Trashey Virgil up closest to the camera, owned by Jamie Livingood. He had double nitech cast wins and was handled by Mike Jones....and PR Jim & Jamie's Trashy Dan back behind him, owned by Jamie Livingood & Jim Willyward. Dan placed 6th Registered on Thursday night and was handled by Jamie....

He is a big, good looking hound. Larry Wilcox had all three studs there, GRNITECH GRCH PR All Grand Dan, GRNITECH PR Wilcox' Thunder Tae Bo, and Thunder Blue. They were all big, houndy, great looking hounds. Very well proportioned and well conditioned....I've hunted regularly with two littermate sisters off of Thunder Blue who are now 21 months old. They are some tough little hounds on the right night and are only going to get better...

WES, Thursday day/night we had some rain in the afternoon and it was overcast and windy the rest of the day and night. I heard the coon were moving earlier rather than later in most areas....Friday was absolutely beautiful. Sunny and warm with a breeze and almost no humidity, also a great night to hunt. It got a little chilly later on but moving around it was a very nice temp. Seemed like the coon were moving later, we cut loose at 11:30 and made 2 den trees, scored on our first coon around 12:30 and then very quickly scored 3 more. Won my cast with 300+ but that was nowhere close to making it into the top 10. Seen 6 coon on the way back to the fairgrounds.....Saturday it was a little cooler and overcast, looked like rain later in the day but didnt get any. Good night to hunt and the coon were really moving, our cast winner won Registered with 1375+ and all four cast members seen the coons. She won it honest and with style. Pearl and I were scratched after the first dump when I couldn't handle her within the hour (she was treed across a river holding a 3rd and 1st with the coon! )...

I didnt see you guys by ole timber. You should of come over and kicked me out of my chair. I would have liked to talk with you out there. We were camped with Larry Marshall and Mike VanWyk. Sorry for the delayed response but I just seen the post.
