funny story

A guy was out working cows when he looked over and saw a small bear watching them. As soon as he saw the bear he spurred his horse in that direction, and had his rope headed towards the bear. He somehow was able to do this before the bear or horse knew what was happening. Well with a lot of luck and a long rope he actually caught the bear perfect around the neck. Just as the rope got tight the bear stopped in his tracks. The horse wasn't able to stop quite so suddenly and ran on top of the bear. This caused the horse to start to jump around a little and the bear to take off. When the bear hit the end of the rope it kind of like a sling shot and fired the bear back at the horse. This was all the horse could handle and started to buck. The rider yelled to one of the other guys to heel the bear. So they could release him. Just as the second guy got a heel caught the bear reached back and pulled the rope off of his head. Knowing the bear would easily get the rope off his leg they let the heel rope go and went back to work. A little while later they saw a car out on the road. they went over to see what was going on. When the lady in the car told them there was a bear in the tree just out in the feild and it apeared to be hanging by it's foot. So they said they would go see what the deal was. Well the bear had gotten the rope tangled in the tree and was indeed hanging by his foot. so they climbed the tree and cut the rope to let him down. as soon as the bear hit the ground he ran under a nearby truck. after getting him out of there and on his way they finally got back to work.
not really hound hunting but I found it pretty funny. heres a couple of pics.

funny story

Sounds like it was a pretty random series of events in one day for the bear! I'd like to read more about the story, where did you hear about it and get the pic's?
