Light Foot Studs

Where are the best Light Foot studs? I am looking for an English male to raise a litter this comming Winter.

We hunt bear the most with a little bit of bobcat. I need to find a stud that will stick on a caught bear alone or with somebody. Of course it must be a good sensible cold trailing, track driving hound that trees like a competition coonhound, but it must stick with a bear on the ground.

Can anyone direct me toward a Light foot bred male like that? It doesn't matter who owns it.
Kyle

If you could send me some information about your female including her pic and pedigree I will see what I can do to help.

I E-mailed her pedigree to you. Let me know if you didn't get it.

Here are some pictures of her.

First trainning session at twelve months. The redtick is her littermate.

Melody is the little black and white head clamped onto the bears butt above the white dog with red head. The white dog with red head clamped on next to her is her littermate. This is their second bear season.

The only dog that held on longer than her was her brother.

Melody on the tree.

Melody, my son and I with a bear that we treed during kill season 2007.

She is a little dog (around forty pounds) built pretty good.

The good.

She cold trails well.
She has allot of heart.
She runs a bear as hard alone as she does in a pack.
She trees well.
She wasn't very trashy.
She holds up well.
She is fast.
She is a strong swimmer.

The bad.

She has a poor voice. A course chop that does not carry well.

You might want to give Raymond Steinbach out of Brantwood a call. He has a blue male that goes back to Lightfoot breeding and he definately meets all your requirements. Tell him to describe Trevor to you or just drive down and see him. They are right off of highway 8 west of brantwood. If you need a number let me know.
