Taylor and I made the trip this past weekend to Ohio with Scarlett Overton. It was great to finally meet so many of you in person that we have made friends with on this board as well as others we had not previously spoken to. We had a blast and Taylor is on top of the world now that she has shown in something BIG.

Even though she didn't capture any major wins she had a good time, got lots of experience with different dogs and lots of compliments on her handling skills. Her daddy and I are very proud of her and how well she is doing. We are shocked at her drive and determination and that she wants to continue!! LOL!!

Penny - You are the best!! It was wonderful to get to see you. I feel like I have known you my whole life!! Love Ya Girl!!

Christina, Lori, Jimmy & Miss Taylor, Gussy & Tina, Roger & Jenn, Mike Seets, Scott Houston - Thank you all so much for making us feel at home and feel like part of your "show" family. We enjoy a wonderful dinner with The Beland Family - thanks you guys for inviting us. All of you were very kind and helpful to us and never once acted like we didn't belong. You are all wonderful and we can't wait to see you again!

Special thanks to Mr. Wallace Gillespie for helping us pack up! We were so ready to get back to GA!! And Congrats on your 1st place Nite Ch win on Saturday!

Last but not least - Thank you Scarlett for asking us to go with you. If not for you we would not have been there to make so many NEW friends. Your the best!!

I know that's right! We left Ohio at about 2PM Saturday coming home and we finally made it at 6:45 AM Sunday! The trip was great but the ride was AWFUL!!

She wants to go back next month for Youth Nationals but I'm not sure I can swing it!! LOL!!

It was super nice to meet you and your daughter. I think we are all gonna have to watch out for your daughter. That girl can handle a dog! She did super this weekend and she should be very proud of herself. We hope to see you again next English days and maybe somewhere or sometime in between.

We do have a neat little "SHOW" family, even though we are all competitors on in the show ring we have great respect and friendships outside the show ring.. Miss Taylor is no exception to the rule and she will go far as long as she keeps it up.

Jenn & WVHOUNDS - thanks for the compliments. I was very proud of her! She told Mike Seets she may not win anything but she wasn't going down without a fight! LOL!! I believe it after I watched her compete. She was very serious about it and very much into what she was doing. She's got to pay her dues but it will all pay off someday!

Hey Jenn - you reckon there was any truth to that deer story Mike was telling? LOL!!

Here is one of the dogs Taylor handled over the weekend. This is a puppy female (By Faith Hymn of Praise) that belongs to Scarlett and she is not completely broke - LOL. Taylor had not ever handled this dog prior to this show. This itself may not seem amazing - but I took the first picture at 2:43 and the last one at 2:54. This little female gave her a fit for that long and she still looks great. Believe it or not she did not win this class! Good effort though. Just look at the concentration on her face!!

you can tell shes trying her best to keep the dog still and shes learned alot there in not getting nervous and flusterdated her self she stayed calm and done a excelent job better then most adults. for a dog picke up on the handler being nervious,

Ladies it was nice to finally meet you both and to chat a while after the shows. Taylor has a bunch of fire and desire and will to win and that in the end will take her a long way. hope to see you at nationals. we are planning to go up and watch the show and see what other events they have.
i have been watching taylor and all her wins. she does a great job
handeling the dog and has fun. don't forget that having fun is
a must in this show world win or lose. i go to show to enjoy myself met people and hopeful have a dog that win. you go get then taylor!
