DC-30 Problem ??

Last night one of my collars lost communication at 114 yards. The collar continued to show no communication for approximately the next 30 mins, even though the dog was never further than 175 yards away at any given time. After catching the dog, I checked the collar and it was still turned on and blinking, just not doing the DOUBLE BLINK. I waited for a while and it never started double blinking. We went ahead and cut the dogs again and it started working about 5mins later and worked fine for the rest of the night. ?????????

Anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions?

Had my first DC-30 do that the first night I got it. Worked fine for a while then quit for about half an hour. It has worked perfect ever since that first night so I wouldn't worry about it unless it does it again. My second DC-30 has never had this problem.

Will pushing the enter button make the collar start double blinking?

This is the first time I'd had any problem with this collar. I have noticed that it's been taking longer to link up lately.
I just don't like turning a dog loose and wondering if the collar will work this time or not.

Take the metal plate off the back of the collar and make sure your your satelite wire is connected good. It mite just be barely touching and would cause this problem.
