This could be the dumbest thing I've ever asked but I have heard some of you talk about giving your hound a little cooking oil with their food. I was fixing to throw away some extra peanut oil we have used for frying turkeys and wondered if a tablespoon here and there would hurt them. They all are very healthy, have shiny coats, and so on, I just some here and there may be a nice treat for them with their food. I dont figure on using the whole 3 1/2-4 gallons we have left but did think I would save maybe a quart jar or two and toss the rest.

I think the small amount you are talking about would be great for them.
