loosing track of hunt time

What would the ruling be if a hunting judge loses track of the “official” time of the hunt? The others in the cast can’t or wont agree on when the time should have ended (dog A says it should have ended two minutes earlier and the dog B thought there was two minutes to go)and the so called lost time made a difference in the hunt results. What would be the proper ruling?

There was a line scored but was thrown out after it was written on the card because dog A said the hunt was over two minutes ago and the judge didnt know when the hunt was over. The judge said the last time he looked at his time there was 20 sec to go but want ahead and walked to where the line was seen and scored the line, dog B disagreed because he thought there was time left on the clock..

If time isn't correct for any reason the cast would be scratched. In this case I'm not sure. You have to go by the judges time. Can you question the judges time and take it back to the master of hounds? I would suggest a vote in the field before taking it to the MOH. I make it a rule to match my own time up with the judges, and make it known to everybody in the cast that I have done this.

Its not rocket science Phil is right, the only thing to do is scratch the cast, no ifs, ands, or buts about it.

Judge should let every cast member know what time it is and write it on the score card as soon as you start the hunt.Cast should have been scratched. How can you vote on time???????????????????????????????????

I'm not sure. It just seems like you should be able to question the judges time. If not they could screw anybody over. Any line at the end of a hunt could be thrown out by the judge if you don't have the right to question him. It's a handlers responsibilty to make sure time is right, if he can't question the judge how can he make sure that the time is right?

Time should not be an issue of time in and time out.If the judge dont tell every cast member what time hunt started and note it on the score card where its supposed to be then they dont need to be judging.Only time it should be questioned is at the end of the hunt if its added up wrong.Over or under 120mins.

In this case the judge is being accused of cutting time short, when other cast members thought there was time left.
