In May, 2009, The Eno River Coonhunters Association of Cedar Grove, NC, sent a letter to the American Black & Tan Coonhound Association requesting permission to host a Black & Tan Sectional in September, 2009. The letter requests special permission, because the club did not submit an application to host a sectional before the Jan 31 deadline. Prior to the deadline, the hunt dates for our club were not agreed upon, as we were in the process of moving some of our dates around. After speaking with the President of the Association yesterday, it does not appear that the ABTCHA will grant this request. If the Association does not allow us to hold a sectional in 2009, THERE WILL NOT BE A BLACK & TAN SECTIONAL IN NC IN 2009.

I personally believe this event will increase membership in the Association and support the Black & Tan breed in NC. Please support our efforts to convince the officers and board members of the ABTCHA to allow our club to host a B&T Sectional in 2009 by signing our petition at http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/..._bnt_sectional/

why should you get permission and other clubs wouldnt i HIGHLY HIGHLY doubt that your club getting this hunt would incress the membership in the ABTCHA..............
