keeping a journel on dogs

I am getting a pup in July that I plan to raise and train it to sell. I would like to keep a journel and video of the dog as he progresses. Does anyone else do this? What is the best way and how would I go about doing it. I not sure if there is web site that is desined for this. Any help would be appricated.

I have kept notes on my female this past winter so I could get a better understanding of her accuracy while the leaves were off. I think it is something everyone should do if they think they might sell their dog some day. I don't care much for guess work and this way you can get a real idea on the accuracy question. I made a spread sheet with headings of "Coon Seen", "Circle Tree" and Slick Tree. I then have divided the "Coon Seen" column by the other two to get a percentage of her accuracy. I would also look at her accuracy by considering half of the circle trees had a coon just to see what she could be.

I was looking for something online that I could post progress, pictures, and video. That way if there is a person who interested in the dog they could go to a page with all the documentation, pictures, and videos.

I have a hunting logbook that was printed in the seventies, I took a page from it to Staples and had them make copies and bind it. Have a separate book for each dog I hunt. It is pretty detailed with things like moon phase, wind direction and speed, time on track, you get the idea.

I don't keep a journal per/say on hunting of the dogs, but I do keep one on each dog I condition.
It let's me measure the dogs progress from start to finish. Weight /muscle tone/metabolism /heartbeat/stress tolerances etc.....

I'll have to show you some of my old records. I use to keep track of every dog I was running , did it for years . I just used a tablet , I kept track of dog /dogs hunted , moon phase , activity period, time hunted, tracks, trees, coon seen, weather, temp, where hunted, date, junk seen, and a comment section. In that I would put when I treed the first litter of the year or when I saw the first fawn, stuff like that. Patterns always emerge. Kind of got away from it now, still have some of those old notebooks somewhere.
