RQE info.

Hello,

I apologize for asking such a newb question, but I'm having a hard time navigating the UKC website to find the info I'm looking for.
I handled my Grandfathers hound in an RQE hunt @ Lincoln Co Coon Club, Lincolnton, NC. (real nice club & great members I highly recommend that hunters attend their events)
We had 7 cast, & I won my cast with plus points & placed 2nd overall in hunt.
Where can I find out more information on the RQE events, I understand I qualified the hound for another hunt but I'd like to know when & where that hunt is & what's at stake @ that hunt.

If you placed in the RQE with second, that puts you in the running for the zones. You will hunt two nights at the zones, fri and sat, and if you make it through the zones you are in the top 100, shooting it out for the world title in TN this year. I have no idea about where your zone hunt is, call the moh that was at the hunt you placed in they will know. Your zone should be within a few hours drive, might even be at the same club.

Good luck and keep your dog in the woods, so he is ready for the big one. Good luck.

Congratulations on your win. The Master of Hounds should have given you a slip that night to fill out and mail to UKC. This slip has a place to pick which Zone you would like to hunt in in September.
The Zone locations can be found in the march issue of Coonhound Bloodlines or on the Coonhound page of the UKC website under older news. The dated for the zones are Sept 18 & 19. The number of dogs advancing from each zone will be determined by the total entries hunting at this zone. The top 100 dogs from the zones will advance to the finals in Rogersville TN on Sept 24,26 26 2009.
Hope this helps

1st through 10th, If there's 5 casts 5 places if there's 12 casts the 10 highest cast winners place in order highest score to lowest score. For Registered dogs 1st through 3rd is a 1st place win, 4 trough10th is a 3rd place win and nitech dogs 1st through 10th is a win toward grand.
