More Rule Changes at Autumn Oaks....

I do not have a new mag, but have heard there are new rules, in addition to the smoking ban, that were published in the June CB mag.

some about parking, staging for the show, no crates in buildings...

has anyone gotten their June book yet that can give info on these new AO rules???

I got mine yesterday. The oly thing I saw was that they chaged the UKC Headquarters and also have a 'UKC Use Only' spot marked off. Let me flip through and see about anything else.

I don't have my issue in front of me, but here is what I remember. There wil be no parking anywhere around the show building, and the area to the west end of that building is being reserved for UKC. Also, UKC headquarters and all the breed booths and the area for taking pictures has been moved to the show building. So, I'm guessing that they are removing the stud dog pens? I think there is still an area for having your dogs in crates.
And, they are having lots more bleachers around the show rings.

The building where the kitchen is, will be strictly for food and entertainment according to the article.

hi cynthia the area out back too the left where the tents were ukc. is useing. and they are putting bleachers on three sides of the show rings and the rings are bigger. stageing area for dogs are in front of rings and creats are behind bleachers. thats about it. thats what i seen in the book. hope that helps.

Pg. 63 has 7 General Rules, most are the usual ones but # 7 says the UKC staff will provide scoops around the grounds to be used for cleaning up after your dog. It is expected that everyone will be responsible for keeping their areas and the areas their dogs travel through clean.

Sounds good enough but I think maybe those will turn into door prizes for the first ? ones there.
This may sound funny but traditionally we leave one heck of a mess behind us every where we go.
