Talked with Donald Hall in Mississippi Saturday evening. He sent me a picture of his male out of Clear River Diamond Jimmy and Sherrill's female. Donald said his male has brains, drive, big mouth, can really drive a track with his head up off the ground, and uses the wind to get treed. This is what Jimmy is bringing to the table and those traits are what I hear about pups off every female that has been bred to Jimmy. Worst traits that I have heard about Jimmy pups, which Donald also said about his pup, is that they are wired too tight as pups and until they get hunted, they are a handful if not allowed to run.

Here's Donald's 2 year old Jimmy dog. Donald said he is getting ready to get him in some hunts.

Four of those young dogs pictured above were put in the woods for the first time by me. Their pictures were taken on the wood between their first and seventh trip to the woods. The picture of Bell was on her first tree. Molly and Jesse both treed coon ahead of Grand Night females before their 10th hunt and they weren't close by when they did. Those young dogs weren't exposed to drags or cage coon before I hunted them. Naturally starting dogs with go and speed in them. Almost all of the young dogs out of Jimmy are owned by mainly pleasure hunters in West Virginia but there should be some of his young dogs hitting the hunts this year. I wish them the best in the hunts but the main thing is that they are enjoying them.

He is a littermate to the Jewell, Molly, and Bell female shown above. Scott Douglas bought Max around 6 months old and treed a lot coon with him that summer. There were also 3 more littermates to them that ran and treed naturally from that litter. There was only one out of that litter of 8 that I don't know anything about.

Sherell took Jimmy to the vet for a sperm count Tuesday. He checked out and is good to go. Jimmy is throwing the kinds of pups that a lot of people are looking for. Drive, big mouths, brains, & winding ability. I felt like letting Sherell take him to Alabama would be a good way to make that bloodline available in another part of the country. If anyone thinks they can use him in their program, please call either Sherell or myself.

Sherill's Sue female had 5 males and 3 females last Monday off of Clear River Jimmy. He also has a litter that was born this Monday out of his female from a previous cross of Jimmy x Sue and Hollywood Rambo. Both litters will be UKC and PKC registered and Performance and Super Stake eligible.

He has over a 100 but not sure how many. He has a couple I know of out of Maxy that have wins. One has a first and a fifth and the guy quit competition hunting and David Smith's gyp has 3 seconds and getting close to $500 in PKC. I know of one out of Snap that has money won in PKC. I have one out of Snap that I might competition hunt next year if I decide to hunt competition again. There are probably more that I don't know about. The vast majority of his pups are owned by pleasure hunters and there has been a fairly good number that have died in accidents for some reason or another. I've heard good things from about every cross we've made. The common description of Jimmy pups has been smart, loud, lots of go and desire, extra fast on track, big mouths, and they started pretty easy. I've been told that some of them, even though they start easy and run and tree, still have some puppy in them at a year old. Some of the strickly pleasure hunters complain some that they are too independent and don't pack enough. The pups I've started and hunted with hunt good but circle and hit ridges and hollers and don't straight line hunt. They hunt like they are supposed to in my opinion, steady and smart for the most part. Hope that answers your questions.
