is there a rule where if you have had dog dealing with
the judge you cant show under them.

no theres not a rule on that only the judges admit family cant show under them son / daughter/ wife cant show any partners can show some dont because of courtsey but some do more do then dont. thats where the politics comes in .

i dont think people shouldn't show the judge's own breeding but it happens and some dont care...again, politics

I had the same situation with B&T Days....

HL Meyer was judging .... He owned Bo when he was breed to my Gracie's mom..... Have since become good friends with HL and Dianne so once we found out that HL was judging we decided not to go and show under him....

To me it is just common sense...Why would you put yourself and the judge in that position!!!

A year or two ago, it was brought to the RULES committe at the OAKS... but because most of the breed representatives are "hunters" it didn't get passed.

I firmly believe that a representative from the "show side" should be on this panel to discuss issues that NEED to be changed!

I ALWAYS REQUEST THAT PEOPLE WITH MY PUPS
DO NOT SHOW WHEN I'M THE BSJ.
This is ONE MORE VALID reason for BSJs names to be made available to exhibitors prior to shows.

At the local level that could be problematic. Most local shows are small and you see the same people week after week. Chances are you either have dealings with a judge and/or are friends with them. It all boils down to that judges integrity. All people have the choice to be fair or cheat you can't make a rule for everything. How far do you want to go. A judge owns my dogs great grandfather that means IK have his bloodline. Do you see where I'm going?
