What do you do if.......

you know a bench show judge who says they will not pick a certain dog before the show even takes place? I understand bench shows are just one man's opinion but if the judge has already excluded a certain dog prior to the event what do you do with that information? Or what if you see a pattern where one judge always picks the same person's dogs no matter where the show takes place? Is there an action to take? Is this considered hear say? What would UKC stand on this be?

We had a judge a few weeks back that let some dogs stand for over five minutes on the bench. During this time his buddy held his dog by the tail and chin and wouldn't let it move. This dog looked like a big lemon beagle. The other two dogs were really nice hounds that would actually setup and hold. But after such a long wait they had to reset and correct a time or two while the other dog was being held in position and not a good one at that. Guess who won. Needless to say I had a little talk with club president who had already heard about it and this BSJ will not be asked to do another one at that club or ours. I am not a bench show guy and I even thought it was dirty. The BSJ even made excuses to the other two guys that one dogs foot was turned out and that the other one was leaning. Heck the dog that won wouldn't even stand unless the handler held it up. The best thing to do is talk to the club officers and see what can be done to keep this BSJ from doing anymore at that club.
