drive, drive , drive!!!

What line of walkers out there still have that natural drive to go hunting with or WITHOUT another dog. I know that there are alot out there that have one from this line or that that has the drive we are all looking for but what i am talking about is liter after liter of pups generation after generation of dogs that have the heart and desire to hunt hard...

Tremor,

I would think ya have one. I know I was surprised last week hunting in a flooded bottom. I thought for sure the pup would come back. Nope, in fact i never seen her even look back. I know I ended up with full hip boots.

I've got 2 pups,

that turned 9 months old last Sunday. I been hunting them by theirselves (no old dog) down in the duck ponds of Oakwood Bottoms, about 10,000-12,000 acres, & they don't have a reverse in them, so far. The male dogs in the 3rd Generation behind them is Sackett Jr., Nailor, Wipeout Zeb, & Coma.

I'm going to have to split them up because if they don't strike right away they are getting to deep for this old body to keep up with.

I also have a 11 year old female whose granddaddy was Sackett Jr. that sure didn't need any company to go hunting by her self. She fell about 20 feet out of a tree about 4 years ago & messed up her rear end, so she is retired now.

Did anybody ever keep the Crowding Billy blood alive?

I bet if anyone would look past the clover in his kennel & breed to OakRidge's double Boone Creek Mike dog they'd have drive to spare,

Fox we have been keeping alot of that blood alive here through a male we called Skip. His dam was sired by a direct son of Dohoneys Ringo and a daughter of Dohoneys Banjo(Two shots of Boone Creek Mike). Her dam was a direct daughter of Hillbilly Mac(another shot of Mike) and out of a dughter of Rock River Banjo and a Red Eagle Dick female (three shots of Crowding Billy),plus on the top he got another shot of Billy through Beaver Lake Magic.
And your right they do have drive and speed to spare.
