male or female

i am getting ready to have puppys. my walker female just got bread. i am thinking about keeping one. i was just wonderin what yall thought. male or female pup. i have never trianed a female. but i have trained alot of males. in your mind is a female easer to train and what are some pros and cons male vs female

i'm no authority but i have seen this question posted many times. as a rule, all other things being equel, most people will report the female is easier to train and hunt and handle. i spoke with one of the famous mushers in alaska and ask him which he prefered. he told me he would rather have a complete team of females but, their heat cycle is difficult to plan around.

the only down fall from my male to female is coming in heat at the wrong time. it seems like even my buddies have problems with it.

A female comes into heat two times a year for 24 days each time, a male comes into heat once a year for 365 days.
