NC bear hunters

A few years ago,I got in a bind and had to sell my dogs. I sold them to a fellow in N.Florida whom I used to coon hunt with. He had taken up bear hunting with some fellows in N.C. I am hoping some one can tell me the status on these dogs. The female was called Torrie. She was dark brown(or black)with brindle trim, about 50-60 lbs and very good natured. The other dog was her son,Crockett. A black with brindle trim plott pushing 70 lbs. Mike gave me good reports on these two when I inquired about them.Whether such was the case or he was trying to make me feel good,I dont know. I would like to know how the dogs turned out as bear dogs and how they are doing if they are still alive. Especially Torrie.I qualified her for the world show three years in a row. Any help would be appreciated.
