Earmites?

What is the best thing you guys have used for earmites? Preferably one that is for cats AND dogs. My house cats and house dogs have a case of earmites going around.

Ivomec!

Ivomec is very effective and very cheap for earmites. Put 1 drop per ear for cats, and 2 -3 drops per ear for dogs. Repeat in a week.
Make sure you do all the animals the same day, or they can continue to pass them back and forth.

I get some stuff from my vet called Aloe Cleanse, it is just a basic ear cleaning solution but he mixes ivomec and something else in it and shakes it up and it does great. Charges me 12 dollars for an eight ounce bottle but it is well worth it. I have tried some of the other ear mite treatments but this is by far the best I have found and I would recommend it to anyone. Dont know if its alright for cats though.
