Garmin GPS?

Thinking of upgrading to the new Garmin tracking system this summer. Those of you that have them whats the good,Bad and Ugly about them.I have the TRX 16 wildlife materials and its been a descent unit but after loosing a pup on the road last month i was wondering if these are the real deal or what. I live in eastern pa and hunt a couple of old quarries and hilly terrain but nothing like the mountains. Also how do they work with the leaves on and such?

Garmins have been discussed to death on here, do a search you will find more than you care to know.

I have been using one for a year and a half, there is plenty of room for improvement, but IMO they are the best thing sinse the belt light.

I have had my DC30 since right after that unit came out, it hasn't even frayed yet, at all.

They are probably thinking the same thing I am, it won't shrink, it won't rot, it'll hold up to nearly anything you throw at it.

Besides, that little wire for the Satellite link to the collar has to be tucked in there somehow.

It is a great product. best invention for a coonhunter since a lead strap.

Thank you. Thats what I was looking for. I have a landscaping Bus. on the side and i'm waiting for the funds $ to start rolling in. I usually quit hunting after the middle of May, so i'll try to sell my wildlife trx 16 and 3 collars to help out also. Thanks for the vote. Curt
