Plottluvr,
The Plotthound first pictured (Best in Show Female) was very dark in color. From where I was standing I couldn't see her brindling, but then again I was not very close to the benches when I took my photos. I'll be posting other images of the same female on Flickr when I add to the album in the next few days. I took over 600 photos of the bench show.

Kevin,
I have exhibited in all breed conformation shows with my Dobermans since 1978, and have shown other breeds in the past. But I felt I needed more of an education on UKC bench shows.
Plus, I need pictures for a booklet I am putting together on showing in the UKC. I am attending Coonhound and Beagle events where I am able, so I will have some good images to include in the book.
I hope to get pictures of the water races this May down in Holmesville, Ohio, too.
