So far, the hunts I have been on, the guide will inform the cast of possible dangers, and ask the cast if they want to drop there or not, or move on to the next place.
The casts have always been pretty much in agreement, and we either dropped or decided to go on.
While I am sure there are some unsavory choices being made, it seems largely the folks are giving us fair information so we can decide what is best for our dog.
If I need to withdraw, I will, and no problem.
This is just a game we play with our dogs..but the dogs believe it IS their life (to hunt) and I want to keep mine as healthy as long as possible so they can keep doing what they love to do!
Life throws us enough curve balls and tragedies, without worrying about whether I am going to drop next to a highway or not! That's a no brainer for me!
