well it depends on whether the coon's are moving. I was down there a few weeks ago friday nite made 7 trees seen 9 coon's saturday made 2 tree seen 0 I can tell you weather and temp change shut coon's down, down there. It is kinda funny here where I live when it is cold snowing raining the coon are moving down there they dont move much. I just hope the weather is good I will be there also. Good luck...

I guess my question was more about the Pecan Groves... Are they good hunting?

Depends on the grove. It is late in the year to turn loose in an open grove and unless he has some real big ones it will be hard to use 2 hours of hunting time in one. Now it the grove has woods bordering it, those wood will hold coon and may even tree a few in the grove itself.

Thats where you will want to be! I have never drawn to the pecans, and I have never treed a coon in the state of Georgia ! But the guys that win it always say thats where they hunted!
GOOD LUCK MATT, and don't forget to take a pack of slim Jim's with ya !
