Went for a few good coon chases tonight with Mike Stewart. He brought out a 2 year old English female, NITECH CH Rocky Creek Rockin' Roxie(GRNITECH PR ROCKY CREEK SPIDERMAN X 'OL BLUE JEANS)a half sister to Rebel- and his 2 year old Red bone female, Pearl. The first drop he hunted both of his hounds, I hunted Rebel, Danielle hunted Gem, and mom hunted Dog. Pearl and Dog treed a coon, and about 20-30 yards deeper Gem and Roxie were looking up on a coon, and rebel was about 30-40 yards deeper in a hole.

This brought us a strike right off the leash with all the dogs opening. They had the coons treed up in about a minute or two. All the dogs were treed, walked in and found two coons. snapped some pix and headed to the next destination- home to switch dogs!

Rebel....

Roxie...

Pearl...

Rebel, Roxie, Gem...

We ended up making 4 more turnouts with Mister, Rebel, Roxie, and Pearl. Made 3 more holes and a slick tree, but I figured we didn't do too bad while the night was young. We seen some good dog work and we definitely had fun!

Pretty fun coonchase last night. The dogs done what they were suppose to. Always have a good time and seem to tree a few coons over your way. Nice pictures. Talk with you later. Mike

Good luck this weekend at southern english days Kellie. Heather, you got to keep your eyes on those two. If you don't they will trip you, give you wrong directions back to the truck, etc... Then just laugh.
