Started this track at 2:30 p.m. 50 degrees. Got Dixie, our 2 1/2 old female out 1st and she walked the track for 200 yards before opening. After she opened and moved out, I filed 9 more dogs/pups in behind her.

Was a little tough getting 10 dogs back to the truck that day solo. Was a great training day tho. There were 4 pups 7 months old and under involved.

Was hard to get the puppie in the pic. Kandy made the tree, just isn't in the pic. The pups didn't stick tight to the tree like the other dogs...Could have something to do with it being a little crowded. Take Care,

Nice pic's Darlene! Looks like the hounds are doing well. I never made it back out to MT to catch another lion but I'll definitely be back out next season. The male pup I got from you is doing very well - doesn't have the treeing thing down 100% yet but he is striking and running a track better than most of the veteran hounds I have been hunting him with. He is locating & treeing better every night I have him out so I am about ready to put him in a competition hunt later this spring. I will try to get a pic or two up so you can see him. thanks again!

Good to hear from you. Sorry you could not make it back up to Mt. Was good to see you in December. Next year we will definitely have to run together. Clint & I talked to Josh a few days ago, and he is going to try to make it up here also. Sounds like he is keeping busy with the hounds. Good luck with your pup!!!!!!Happy Hunting.
