trail cam

I am loking at buying a trail cam. The one I am looking at is a moultire. It says it has Beacon locator with security option. does any body know what this means.

I dont know what that means...but let me tell you something about Moultrie....mine is almost 3 years old, EATS batteries now, and wont take a picture if it's below 34 degrees. Also, the daytime pics have also had the whiteout effect...and the motion sensor all but doesn't work. If you want a camera that will last, I'd stay clear of Moultrie. I'm looking for a replacement.

I use a stealth for the money it works great no issues, but I have found its all in how you take care of it .cuddeback a also good alittle more pricey but remember if you spend the money take care of it and you shouldn't have any problems with most,in saying of take care of it, letting ride around in your truck,letting fall off your quad, bumping and banging it isn't good on anything electronic.from self experience.
