this question was on here a month or too ago, some thought it was the best thing since coca-cola others didn't, we fed it awhile, right price but then got a stale batch and switched to diamond for some time, lots of cleanup with bud boy JMHO.

Trent cant you find anything good enuf to feed that blue dog ???? ....If you are looking value try some old glory,if you are looking some good feed black gold in the black bag and if you are looking for outstanding try black gold corn free bag that will make your dogs hair look greasy and pen clean up very minimal..It comes in a 40 pd bag and probaly will cost you 28.00 but you will be satisfied !!

well johnny i think he has a food allergy or something.... keeps getting ear infections. A long time houndsman told me to try feeding something without yeast in it and at the feed store buddy boy is the only thing that didnt have it. The black gold corn free sounds good. I am about to just go to straight purina i joined the pro club yesterday and think i am going to feed him purina pro plan performance alittle high but i guess he is worth it. I am tired of trying foods. I was hoping to find 1 bag I could feed everything. Dont think i can afford to feed them all pro plan. In fact i know i cant.

If it is ear infections or skin issues try a food that doesn't have wheat, corn or soy based products in it. One brand is solid gold, pricey but if it is allergies they will clear in 4 weeks if it is food related.

Trent

At one time Buddy Boy was pretty good stuff. I never had a problem with it or got any that was stale either. The store that sold it went out of business(owners retired) & we no longer have it here. I had pretty good luck on it myself, it held the dogs well when hunted very hard & not much stool to clean up either. I wouldn't be afraid to try it if I were you. We fed professional formula 23-16.

I'm feeding solid gold barking at the moon right now. It's awsome. One problem, I paid $45 for 33lbs. Regular price was $60. Ouch!!!!
