Don't know about better but most seem to find them more comfortable to wear. The newer box lights are lighter than the old ones were and a bit less expensive. I would think the light would be about the same.

belt light

Thanks, which would you prefer? Which hold charge longer, and are brighter. Which brand do you recommend.

it seems the box

lightes last longer and are just as bright, my buddie just bought a 21 volt box light its the same brightness as my 21 volt belt light and he can hunt a couple nights on one charge and all i get is one night of hunting on one charge.

lights?

I build lights (Okie LIghts) and there is no difference in the brightness or the burn time between a belt light and a box light of the same voltage. However the amouth of time you keep the light on the high side of the bulb will make a difference. If you want a light to stay up longer on one charge i suggest the pro head which is four led bulbs in one head and you can run your light a week or more on one charge.. Hope this helps

Is this what you have or do you have the 21volt?

I do agree with you though, belt lights are much more comfortable,, and the Moonshiner lights are some of the best out there,, Tims makes a good light as well.

how long will the bulbs last in the pro head? Does it work like the 5100 wheat light head?
