The Columbus County Coonhunters Association in Delco, North Carolina are holding a 2 day walker sectional this weekend. Delco is located off of US 74 between Whiteville, N.C. and Wilimington, N.C. If you are within driving distance, you should come out and support this hunt. This club works hard to put on a good hunt and could use our support. I will be there Friday and Saturday and look forward to seeing you there.

Ken, I don't know for sure if they will have one or not but most clubs in this area do. You can call Robert Pierce at 910-840-7518 if you want to know for sure.

Come out and support this hunt. You couldn't ask for a nicer group of people, who will make you feel welcome and will do everything in their power to make sure you have a good hunt. I am not a member of this club, but always enjoy participating in their events and would like to see them have a good turnout this weekend.

I was hoping to make it to Delco today but my dog injured his leg last night and I don't want him to make it worse so I am not going tonight but if it is better tomorrow I am going tomorrow night.

We had a good hunt. I have a story to tell you about the Black River, some good ol boys running around in a jon boat telling us our dogs were on the other side the river, echoes, long wet muddy walking, etc etc etc........ boy what i would have gave for a garmin system last night. those bends,turns,sloughs, and swamps down there whooped me last night. we still had a good time. I'll be taking my boat down there today to have on standby for tonight, hope we dont need it. Our cast had the winning registered dog, the dog Terry Buffkin and Daniel Bollinger used to own called Katie,(off of Nail).
Good turn out, and we hope to have more tonight.
The Hammer's nocturnal Smoke dog won nch.
Ken, yes there will be a kids bench show, come on over,we would be glad to have you and your family. Ill have my granddaughter with me tonight. hop to see you

Kevin, our local boys did good. Jamie Sholar won Grand Nite Champion, Tommy Beavers won nite champion, Blake King won 1st place registered and Eddie Taylor won 2nd place registered. Blake's and Eddie's wins finished their dogs out to nite champion.
