Success with dual sired litter, finally!!

Drew of Jet 8 and Gauge and bred Sunny Girl AI on 13th day!! Mixed semen together real good in vial AI her and butta bing, pups from 2 different sires in a single litter!! 1 pups DNA was insufficient so it has to be redone! 3 males and 2 females from Gauge and 3 males and 1 female from Jet 8. Anyone else had any luck with this!! I tried breeding to different males 1 day apart with no results. I just thought this way would get better results and it did!! Later, Danny G.

Danny

I breed a female to 2 littermate brothers. They were 9 & I wanted pups off both of them. I breed here to 1 & the other 2 days later. She had 9 pups all from one sire. It was expensive but O Well. Mark

Good deal Danny. People i've talked to they either had no luck, or like one pup from one sire and the rest from the other.
Often thought you'd probally get better resualts doing like what you did, that way it gives 'em more of a equal chance.

Best way for sure!!

I will more than likely do it again in the future!! What hurts is the cost to get them all DNA and how long it takes UKC to get reults back to you. This litter took 11 weeks and pups are now 3 1/2 months old and they can do some eating. At least the pups will be DNA-VIP for the new owners!!
