I have been to court on barking dogs . Bought new Tri-Tronics bark collars .Put them in basment when I am gone .Yell at them and reaLLY try to keep them quite. I even aplagezied to the neighbor that called the police ,she droped the charges.
Now the other neighbor has a dog that barks when the wind blows , And I am sick of it just like my neighbor was .I have asked them about it and they just look the other way . Not to mention that it runs the fence the whole time your in the yard .
What should I do ,,,, call police or what HELP

I can't too much offer any advice, but I feel your pain. I have the same problem with people's dogs running loose. I got my dogs confiscated for this....and at the time I had two mixed breeds that didn't even leave my yard, they just ran to the edge of it and barked at a lady that walked every morning. She called the police.

The police went and told everyone in the neighborhood to keep their dogs confined....that it was the law....and who do you think paid any attention? Only me.... I've kept my dogs confined ever since. But other people's dogs come into my yard and kill my mom's cats and pester my dogs. I have a hard enough time keeping my dogs off of her cats when I let them run....only for somebody else's dogs to come over here and do it. And tear up things we have in the yard.

I shoot them with BB guns, holler and swat and kick at them, and tell their owners. But I might just have to do the same thing that lady did to me to get the point across.

I have no time for dogs running loose. Some people just don't have the sense of a newborn goose when it comes to dogs.

As far as barkin' dogs. I'd call the cops and complain.

Barking Dogs

I can't say alot cause I live in the country, but I have recently been informed by the sherrif that a barking dog can be a peace distrubance even if there is no ordanance in your area. My crazy bunny hugging, humane society sucking neighbor, was then informed that harrassment and tresspassing, were also offenses of the law.

This lady lives 400 yards from my house across the highway and there is a patch of timber between us, and she says she can't plant a garden cause of my hounds barking.

As far as dogs running loose, most of my neighbors live far enough away that their dogs don't come over. I do have an accosional visitor, and I'll figure out who's it is and return it. The one problem I do have is that everybody in three surrounding counties hates that crazy neighbor, so they dump every dog they find out there. I've lived there for almost three years, and there aint no telling how many strays have made it to the bone pile. I always try to find them a home but a couple of days is enough, besides most of the time they are hungry when they show up, and my chicken and turkey flock make for a good easy meal THEY think. I've always wondered if some of them that have been shot died thinking that was one mean old suped up tom turkey LOL.
