Rudy pup

I trained a young dog out of Rudy I named High Strung Jack. And he sure does live up to his name, as he is full of energy. He was around 13 months old when I got him and knew nothing about a coon. Needless to say he has come along quite nicely. I hunted this dogs mother and can say that he resembles her in about every way. Jack is quick on strike and quick to tree. All chop mouth, Great treedog. Jack is real competitive. Seems to do better with company, but can get it done alone. Jack is more of a hot nosed dog, but I have seen him work a bad track and come treed with a coon. He hunts to please, and really likes to have the coon. I sold him to a good friend of mine who would give him the hunting he needs... I put a 3rd place on him last summer, my buddy finished 2nd at a World qualifier in Cadiz OH. He has recently put a 2nd on him to make him a NTCH. He is the only dog out of Rudy I have hunted with, but I hope this helps ya.

I have one off Rudy that is around a year or so old that I like. He to is high strung, smart, and has a very good aura surrounding him. This down time is killing me as he was a step away from putting it together on his own. He can take a stern correction and respond to it positively instead of cowering like a cur. Very strong will. He has shown that he has no problem with the dark and going off on his own, away and without the other dogs. I look forward to putting more time into him. From the couple of Rudy dogs that I have hunted with, I can see where they might be too much dog for some folks. They are high energy but smart at the same time. Makes for some fun dogs if a guy ain't lazy.

I hunt a male out of rudy he started real early, was treeing his own alone and consistantly at 11 months. real smart, all chop mouth, good locate and a nice change over, fast, runs a track with his head up off the ground. I never believed in naturally strait until i hunted this dog. Was independent to a fault when he was young. A pleasure to hunt, he was hit on the road when he was about 2 that slowed him down some but hes still the best pup trainer i could ask for.

Neosha River skinner

I hunted with this dog in the little world hunt out of pine bluff arkansas a long time ago. He was one one the best hounds I ever seen treed. He was a coon dog.
