He threw some pretty nice coondogs. He was ugly though & had one blue eye but had some nice looking and sounding pups.

The blue eye came from Stylish Queen. Hayes threw some very hard hunting dogs that were trackdogs. A lot of his pups were not for the hunter that wanted dogs to check back in after awhile because most didn't. Like a lot of studs if you bred good balanced coondog females you were allright . I personally liked the drive most of them had

I OWNED A STUD OUT OF HIM AND STYLISH ANNA AND HUNTED WITH MANY OTHERS OUT OF HIM MOST AS LES SAID WERE GOOD NOSED DOGS THAT HAD A LOT OF TRACK SPEED THEY WERE HARD HUNTING DOGS WERE FAIRLY INDEPENDANT HAD LOUD MOUTHS THEY WERE BALANCED BUT A LITTLE HARDGOING. BUT I WOULD RATHER THEY WERE DEEP AND TREED WITH THE MEAT THAN STANDING AND LOOKING AT ME.

I had three pups out of him & all three were nice dogs. As has already been stated they were not check back in stay at your feet type dogs.

I couldn't agree more, nothing worse than a dog standing at your feet. If they didn't hunt ,they wouldn't be here as I absoultley hate a lazy dog. I absolutley want & love for a dog to have drive to give away & will not tolerate lazy or moody dogs either & they must be very accurate & do the same all by themselves.
