Thanks guys. Vet done the skin scrape and let me look at it. I saw two of them wiggling around and two smaller ones. The vet did me give Mitaban dip told me to put him in a wading pool (or something of the sort) and mix the mitaban with a gallon of water and keep pouring it all over him. Its the worst on his legs and feet. He does have a little spots on his snout and throat. Gave me enough to dip him once a week for 8 weeks. Highball got a rash back during the winter but it cames from mites when I changed his straw out. Gave him a bath every 3 days with iodine shampoo cleared it right up. I have been giving this dog the same and it was'nt getting any better. Thats why I went ahead and took him to the vet.
One other thing. The vet said this could be hereditary(sp) somehow. Maybe parents or grandparents had it. Something to do with the immune system. He said most dogs build up a tolerence to these kinda things. Could be not proper care?Anybody ever heard that before or can tell me more about what he was talking about?
