What does everyone think?

Just wondering what everyone thought of the new American Leopard Hound Special Issue? I dont think ive ever seen one up close but they sure are a different breed, kind of like how the English are all different looking also. Also who all owns one on here? And how do they hunt compared to other hounds?

I've only hunted with 2. My friend used to own some Leopards years ago. Neither would hunt more than about 50 yards from you. The male kept trying to hump princess while she treed the coon. LOL My buddy had to chase him off with a stick.

I look forward to drawing out with some but I won't hold my breath while I wait for the chance.... I would prolly try one sometime if I could be convinced that they had enough tree in them. The other problem for me is I hunt as much AKC as anything these days and I doubt we will see them in AKC. I like the hign tans.

Start reading on page 34. Some of the bigger named Leopard folks give their descriptions.

I hunt with a guy quite a bit that has leopards.... his main dog handles like a dream, but he WILL get deep on you in a hurry.
