winter hunts

why are there no ukc nite hunts during winter up north
i know its cold but we all still go hunting anyway

I don`t know about where you hunt but around here we got 36" of soft snow in the bush and the best dogs would have to cover many miles to tree one if they even move that night. Plus I don`t like hunting with snowshoes on!

can i stay with you and hunt and bring my budie also that hunts with me he dont have nothing but a 4 month old pup but i will bring 2 dogs or you can come here and hunt with us.i know a lot of comp. hunters that has no dog to tree winter coon i did not mean all was that way but most is

been up north

went last month and treed coon every drop then went to frank g also while i was up north.i know all to well about the north country

breaks in the rut there.you mite just see us and you can come here aney time to hunt ky i will take you to some decent coon land but you got more coon up your way then we got here

i live in

sandy hook ky.we have talked befor.are coon are ruting here also.i turned loose 3 dogs togeather the other night all 3 dogs struck togeather and ran 5 minuts togeather then all dogs split and treed 100 yards apart and all 3 dogs had a bore coon.that mite not ever hapen again.killed all 3 bore coon becals all dogs stayed treed while the other dogs coon hit the ground onley 2 of the dogs where mine one of mine is onley 21 months old and i shot her coon out last to make sure she stayed treed

We don't have hunts every weekend, but we have plenty of hunts. Lainsburg just had a hunt Saturday night. Eight guys showed up, and they sent 3 cast to the woods. Each cast scored plus points.

Maple Rapids has a hunt in February and one in the first of March.

well isnt that what its about separating the men from the boys
so the leaves are off easyer to see who the real hounds are
i think ukc should have more hunts during winter it would have a positive affect on all aspects of improving our sport.

Maniac i can honestly say he is Packin a COONDOG! ! ! i didnt know the meaning Coondog till i hunted with him by the end of the night if your not stratchin your head saying how did that dog pull that off ill eat MUD! ! !
