how old is the pup???
take your replies on here 1 at a time you are going to have some say to put the dog down. but the age and details of the agressive behavior are going to be needed.

THE PUPPY IS 9 WEEKS OLD. ITS MY HUSBANDS AND IHAVE BEEN KEEPING HIM IN THE HOUSE, POTTY TRAINING, TEACHING HIM TO SIT, VERY SMART GREAT BREED LINE. SUDDENLY HE WILL WANT ON CHAIR THAN MY HUSBAND OR 11 YEAR OLD WILL PICK HIM UP TO PUT ON CHAIR AND HE WILL GROWL AND NIP AT THEM. HAD HIM PLAYING WITH 7 WEEK OLD LAB, STARTED OK THAN PUP SHOWED SOME AGGRESION TOWARD PUP.

Dominance down training. Hold the pup on its back like a baby for 30 minutes 2 times a day. Don't let it get up even if it hollars. I had one that would scream like I was beating her. An older vet told me about this. Good luck! It takes time but well worth it.

correct him any time he shows aggression. nip it in the bud now and avoid big problems later.

thats very good advice.
if the pup snaps at you or anyone else (including another dog)
forcefully roll it on its back and hold it there. this is showing it your the boss and it has to submit to you. dont let that little thing run the show.

don't rub or pet him when he's acting aggressive. that will just reward him for being bad. it's like giving a kid candy for cussing instead of a bar of soap. instead, either trun him over on his back or grab him by the back of the neck and pin his head to the ground until he stops fighting. this way you are establishing dominance over him and when he relaxes he is submitting to you. after you have trained him to do it with you have your husband and son do the same thing. this way he will realize that all people are to be respected and he is just a dog whose job is to show that respect. after you have done this put him off by himself and leave him alone for a while and he will think about the lesson he just learned and it will have more impact on him.

You need to redirect the chewing....he's teething. When he does it tell him NO! and give him a toy that is ok to chew and tell him GOOD DOG.

As far as rolling him on his back. Thats a good idea but not for 30 min. Thats too long. You want to keep him there until he shows you his throat. That is a submissive act and he's telling you you're the boss. Once he does that...let him up and ignore him for a few minutes then act like nothing happened.

You may want to read up on pack behavior. It will help alot. I growl at my dog when she acts up and it works wonders. I don't have to yell at all. A good stern "look" and she turns away.

You need to assert your dominance over him but not to the point that he's cowed for the rest of his life.

You have to be a bully sometimes and a best freind others,but you need to become the alpha you make him get on his back grab his snout and front leg(so he can't snap or claw you)while on his level and he is looking at you from below you tell him "NO" in a bully voice and hold him right where he is he will get your point.Introduce him to chew toys you approve of(tennis ball works well)Good luck

I got my Walker puppy when he was about 6 weeks old, and when he got to be your pup's age he showed a little aggression too. He got VERY sassy when he was corrected for things, growling and sometimes even snapping at me. He even bit both my fiance and I once, enough to draw a good bit of blood...he was quite viscious about it. I tried my hardest before that to stay away from using physical discipline with him, but when he bit me that crossed the line. I beat the snot out of his little butt. After that if he growled at me even in play I'd immediately put him in his crate for a little while. He's about 16 weeks now, and he hasn't been aggressive since. My fiance plays rough with him every now and then, but Waylon knows the difference between playing and fighting.

Maybe something else to keep in mind...if a puppy that young is nipping at you, it might mean he needs something. Waylon would get nippy when he needed to go outside, but that actually helped me a lot in housetraining.

Just like raising kids, I don't agree with time outs or talking kindly so as not to hurt their feelings. Don't roll him onto his back and rub his belly you're sending the wrong message. Grab him by the loose skin on his check/neck and PUT him on his back and scare him while saying no and hold him there until he shows submission to you. Don't let him bite or chew your fingers/hand. You have to make him know that you're the ALPHA dog in his pack or he will think he is. He has a place, you just have to show him where it is.
